Labor Relations and Participation Rights in Supranational Organizations

The aim of the project is to explore labor relations, and in particular participatory deficits, in a transnational context, also with a focus on the public service. For this purpose, the project examines labor relations and employment conditions in selected supranational organizations that have their headquarters in Germany but are not subject to German law: The European Central Bank (ECB), the European Patent Office (EPO), and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).
