Teaching and research at various institutions in Germany, Switzerland, and the United States, including Harvard University, Cambridge, the New School for Social Research, New York, and the Center for Humanities and Social Change, Berlin. Director of the research project »Abolition Democracies – Transnational Perspectives« funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation. Member of the advisory board of the International Consortium of Critical Theory Programs. Co-editor of the book series Philosophie und Kritik, and member of the selection committee of the exchange platform »Kritische Theorie(n) pluralisieren«. Since 2020 Associate Professor of Political and Social Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam.
